We have been sailing and playing bridge the year 2000 and now we want to share this incredible experience with new and seasoned bridge players from the Maritimes.

Along with bridge play and daily clinics featuring Audrey Grant’s new book on the 2/1 bidding system we plan on taking a walk through the rain forests in Costa Rica we plan on wonderful parties, dinners and a wonderful time aboard ship.  Jo Ann and Kathie have been playing bridge and cruising for the past 9 years and we know how to have a good time – and we can always find the “Local Beer”!

Grand Slam Adventures

Jo Ann Lynds and Kathie Macnab have been in the bridge scene for over 30 years.  They play competitively and now spend many hours a week teaching their favourite game.  Jo Ann teaches bridge in Truro , Nova Scotia and is responsible for the many new players they now have at the Truro Duplicate Club.  Not only does Jo Ann teach beginning players but has designed and presented programs on advanced bidding, play and defense.  Kathie owns and operates a successful Bridge Studio in Halifax , Nova Scotia .  The Bridge Studio holds 5 regular duplicate games a week and also hosts games of particular interest to Intermediate/Newcomers, seniors and beginner players.  Kathie and Jo Ann have both worked with Audrey Grant and have Audrey's special permission to present her newest book on board the Island Princess.  These ladies are quite at ease teaching all levels of bridge and are very capable of presenting information so that everyone in the room picks up a tidbit or two to improve their game.

 Kathie and Jo Ann have had the pleasure of traveling through the Panama Canal several times in the past and they are anxious to show you this part of the world.  During the visit of Mexico , Central America and across the Caribbean they hope to entertain their guests with a wonderful bridge program and delightful times in ports.
