M C & G Bridge Studio 5-Aug-2018
When your partner has opened with a weak-two, you need to immediately re-evaluate your hand - partner has essentially said "my hand works well in my suit and has little else". As such, if you have support for your hand and good distribution (a singleton or void), your hand is worth a lot more than a generic, flat thirteen-count. Exercise great caution in bidding over partner's preempt holding a singleton or a void in their suit - they've warned you they've got little else!
