Shingles Vaccine Study for Adults

50-59 Years of Age

Clinical Trials Research Center

IWK Health Centre

Shingles causes a painful rash.  The rash lasts for a few weeks but the pain may last for months.  Most people who get shingles are 50 years or older or have a weak immune system.

We are doing a study on a vaccine to prevent shingles.

If you are a healthy 50 to 59 year old who has never had shingles, call Darlene at 470-8931 or email her at darlene.baxendale@iwk.nshealth.ca

Eligible participants will be reimbursed for travel/parking
